Hello fellow fashionistas! My name is Charmaine Black and I’ve loved fashion and beauty for as long as I can remember. As a young girl, I would cut out pictures from magazines of hair, makeup and fashion that I found appealing and inspiring. For years I’ve been thinking about starting a blog, but life gets in the way, and it’s so easy to put things off to tomorrow, or the next month or next year. But given the near year (and new decade!), what better way to kick it off then to finally start doing what I love to do. Talk about style, fashion and beauty, and share my tips and ideas that I have acquired with all of you. I currently live in Illinois and have strong Midwestern roots. I have a B.A. in English from DePaul University and a J.D. from John Marshall Law School in Chicago.
