I remember as a little girl when I would go to my aunt’s home, she had a lovely, skirted vanity table from the 1950’s. It was flouncy with white tulle skirting and a matching chair. While my mom visited with her sister, I would spend my time at the vanity, pretending I was old enough to wear makeup. I always thought the vanity table was just so elegant and reminiscent of a bygone era.
Recently, I began to see vanity tables showing up with regularity on Insta. I came across Impressions Vanities and became absolutely obsessed! It didn’t take me long to determine that one of their Vanities would solve my makeup disorganization. (Haha!) I chose the Slaystation Pro 2.0 Tabletop + Vanity Mirror (large version) + 6 Drawer Units and a coordinating velvet vanity chair. I couldn’t be more pleased with my choices! I love everything about the vanity. The construction is solid, the finish is glossy with lots of room for storage. I particularly love the glass top drawers where you can showcase your palettes, jewelry or anything else that suits your fancy. It has bluetooth capability so you can listen to your favorite tunes via speakers in the mirror. I like the size of the vanity because it can also double as a desk/workstation (always a plus)!!
The only negative is the amount of pieces to assemble. WOW. The boxes came in multiple shipments and it took several hours to unbox everything (Styrofoam and cardboard everywhere!) It took two men over 4 hours to assemble. But when it was done, it is really the vanity of all vanities. You feel like a Hollywood diva when you’re doing your makeup. If you’re looking to treat yourself, you will not be disappointed! And if you ask “mirror mirror on the wall who’s the fairest of them all”, it would be you sitting in front of one of these Hollywood worthy beauties!
